PM Modi participated in the Jhumoir Binandini 2025, a Mega Jhumoir programme in Guwahati. PM Modi praised the impressive preparations by all the artists of the Jhumoir. PM also spoke about the pride of Assam, the brave warrior Lachit Borphukan. He exclaimed Assamese language being granted the status of a classical language and Charaideo Moidam being included in the UNESCO World Heritage list, as significant achievements of their Government. PM assured their Government is developing Assam and serving the 'Tea Tribe' community as well.
