50 episodes of Swagat Online completed successfully

Chief Minister Narendra Modi had started Swagat Online (State Wide Attention on Grievances through Application of Technology) with the purpose of solving the problems and grievances of the common man online through the medium of Technology in the year 2003. 50 episodes of Swagat Online were completed on last Thursday.

Swagat project is been hosted on every 4th Thursday of the month in the presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the Jansampark Department of his Chief Minister Office. In his presence with all the department heads and the district representatives, the grievance of the common man are addressed through Video conferencing and solutions are provided online to the common man immediately.

Through the medium of ‘Swagat Online' justice is provided to the common man. All the department heads try to find the solution to the common man's problem in the best possible way. In the 5o episodes till date 65273 applications have been received from Sachivalay, district and taluka sections of Swagat of which 60350 applications of people are solved, which means justice to 92.45% application is done. Rests of the applications are in the process of getting solved, because of the legal procedure involved the status on these applications is pending.

Swagat has provided common man with a platform to get justice. The initiative taken by Chief Minister is been appreciated through out on national and international level in the studies on how to make democracy more efficient. Gujarat's structured administration and E – Governance department's E - transparency with E – accountability and its successful strategies and experiments with technology has attracted attention of the various administrative officials in the entire nation.

In last one and a half years Narendra Modi has expanded the platform for Swagat by inviting applications from Talukas also and not just restricting it to Sachivalaya and districts. In the program till date 27845 applications have been received from Talukas of which 24895 applications are solved.

Chief Minister had listened to the grievances of the people with utmost sensibility and asked the governing officials to provide justice. He also suggested the ways to make Swagat Online effective to the district and Taluka officials and expanding programs reach to the common man from all the places of Gujarat.

Mahotsav aims to celebrate Rural India’s entrepreneurial spirit and cultural heritage

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate Grameen Bharat Mahotsav 2025 on 4th January, at around 10:30 AM, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

Celebrating Rural India's entrepreneurial spirit and cultural heritage, the Mahotsav will be held from 4th to 9th January with the theme 'Building a Resilient Rural India for a Viksit Bharat 2047’ and motto “गांव बढ़े, तो देश बढ़े”.

The Mahotsav, through various discussions, workshops and masterclasses, aims to enhance rural infrastructure, create self-reliant economies, and foster innovation within rural communities. Its objectives include promoting economic stability and financial security among rural populations, with a special focus on North-East India, by addressing financial inclusion and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.

A significant focus of the Mahotsav will be to empower rural women through entrepreneurship; bring together government officials, thought leaders, rural entrepreneurs, artisans and stakeholders from diverse sectors to build a roadmap for collaborative and collective rural transformation; encourage discussions around leveraging technology and innovative practices to enhance rural livelihoods; and showcase India's rich cultural heritage through vibrant performances and exhibitions.
