I am looking forward to the day when Americans will be in queue for an Indian visa

Question: As a member of the diaspora, I want to ask you when will there be an overhaul in our documentation- things such as passports such as electronic, better facilities for OCI, PIO cards etc. I heard your speech of Pravasai Bharatiya Diwas in Jaipur and thought you can be best person to answer this question. #ModiHangout

  • I am looking forward to the day when Americans will be in queue for an Indian visa.
  • E-passport is not far away. But I am not sure when the Central government will do that.
  • If the Centre allows me I shall digitize all passports within a year

Prime Minister recalls profound impact of Bhagwan Mahavir’s Ideals on Mahavir Jayanti

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today remembered timeless teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, recalling the deep influence of his teachings on his own life.

Modi Archive, in a post on X, reflected on the Prime Minister’s long-standing spiritual bond with Bhagwan Mahavir’s teachings and the Jain community.

Responding to the X post of Modi Archive, the Prime Minister posted on X;
