The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that Hyderabad Liberation Day is a pivotal moment in our nation's history.
Shri Modi also paid tributes to Sardar Patel, whose role in the unification of Hyderabad was exemplary.
Responding to the X threads of Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and DoNER, Shri G Kishan Reddy about celebration of Hyderabad Liberation Day, the Prime Minister posted on X;
"మన దేశ చరిత్రలో హైదరాబాద్ విమోచన దినోత్సవం ఒక కీలక ఘట్టం. ఈ రోజు మనం హైదరాబాద్‌లో పరిఢవిల్లుతున్న ఐక్యతా స్ఫూర్తినీ, దేశ సమైక్యత కోసం చేసిన త్యాగాలను సగర్వంగా స్మరించుకుంటున్నాం. హైదరాబాద్‌ను విలీనం చేయడంలో ఆదర్శవంతమైన పాత్ర పోషించిన సర్దార్‌ పటేల్‌కు నివాళులు అర్పిద్దాం.ఈ దినోత్సవాన్ని, భారత ప్రభుత్వం హైదరాబాద్‌లో అత్యంత ఉత్సాహంగా నిర్వహించుకోవడం నాకు సంతోషంగా ఉంది."
