प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आज भाजपा के स्थापना दिवस पर पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं को बधाई दी। श्री मोदी ने कहा, “आज का दिन भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं की विभिन्न पीढ़ियों की कड़ी मेहनत को याद करने का दिन है जिन्होंने समाज सेवा के उद्देश्य से धीरे-धीरे इस पार्टी को बनाया।”
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा कि यह गर्व की बात है कि देशभर से और समाज के सभी वर्गों के लोगों ने भाजपा में अपना भरोसा दिखाया है। उनके प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा, “अंत्योदय से प्रेरित, भारत, खासकर गरीबों और वंचितों, की सेवा करने का हमारा प्रयास पूरे उत्साह के साथ आगे भी जारी रहेगा।”
प्रधानमंत्री ने भाजपा मुख्यालय का भी दौरा किया और पंडित दीन दयाल उपाध्याय को श्रद्धांजलि दी।
