सशस्त्र बलों के साहस को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रीय युद्ध स्मारक में 'स्वर्णिम विजय मशाल' प्रज्ज्वलित की।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने ट्वीट कर कहा, "विजय दिवस पर हम अपने सशस्त्र बलों के अटूट साहस को याद करते हैं जिसके परिणामस्वरूप 1971 के युद्ध में हमारे देश के लिए निर्णायक जीत हुई थी। इस विशेष विजय दिवस पर, नेशनल वॉर मेमोरियल में 'स्वर्णिम विजय मशाल' को प्रज्ज्वलित करने का गौरव प्राप्त हुआ।"
