Narendra Modi to attend all-religion prayer meeting at Porbandar on Oct 2

Gandhinagar, Saturday: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will attend the all-religion prayer meeting on Gandhi Jayanti and pay his respect to mark 143rd birthday of the Father of the Nation at Kirti Mandir in Porbandar.

The Chief Minister will dedicate on the occasion the Gandhi Smriti Bhawan, newly built by the State Youth Services and Cultural Affairs Department on 10,000 sq. m. area, and also the District Seva Sadan on 6,280 sq. m. built at a cost of Rs. 12-crore at the Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace.

Prime Minister extends greetings on Dev Deepawali

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has extended greetings on the occasion of Dev Deepawali."The sacred city of Baba Vishwanath is today illuminated by the unparalleled radiance of Dev Deepavali. Along the banks of Mother Ganga, millions of lamps lit on the ghats of Kashi carry wishes for happiness and prosperity for all", Shri Modi stated.

"बाबा विश्वनाथ की पावन नगरी आज देव दीपावली के अनुपम प्रकाश से आलोकित है। मां गंगा के किनारे काशी के घाटों पर प्रज्वलित लाखों दीपों में सबके लिए सुख-समृद्धि की कामना है। यह दिव्यता और भव्यता हर किसी के मन-प्राण को मंत्रमुग्ध कर देने वाली है।

आप सभी को देव दीपावली की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं। हर-हर महादेव!"
