PM Modi made a historic visit to Kuwait, marking the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 43 years. During his visit, he held productive talks with the Amir, Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of Kuwait to further strengthen bilateral ties. He was also conferred the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Order, Kuwait's highest honour. PM Modi interacted with the Indian diaspora and met with Indian workers at the Gulf Spic Workers Camp.

During the Summit it was decided to set up a BRICS bank and the first head of the Bank will be from India. 3 MoUs were signed between Brazil and India, after President Rousseff and PM Modi met.
