CM reviews preperations for 2013 Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit

On Wednesday 193thDecember 2012 Shri Narendra Modi reviewed preparations of upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit 2013. The following are the salient points of the upcoming summit:

  • Mega Exhibition of 1 lakh square meters at Helipad Ground to be held
  • More than 100 nations to participate in the 201 Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit.
  • More than 5000 delegates to attend the summit.
  • Japan and Canada to be the partner nations.
  • 57 pre-summit investment meets held already.
  • Through the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit, Gujarat has made a unique place for itself on the economic map of the world.
  • Mahatma Mandir to be a global destination on 11th, 12th and 13th January 2013
  • Industrial Development, Investment, creation of employment in this summit will strengthen the development journey of Gujarat.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage today to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue in the historic Promenade Gardens in Georgetown, Guyana. He recalled Bapu’s eternal values of peace and non-violence which continue to guide humanity. The statue was installed in commemoration of Gandhiji’s 100th birth anniversary in 1969.

Prime Minister also paid floral tribute at the Arya Samaj monument located close by. This monument was unveiled in 2011 in commemoration of 100 years of the Arya Samaj movement in Guyana.
