The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominated the NDA’s PM candidate Shri Narendra Modi from the Lok Sabha seats of Varanasi (UP) and Vadodara (Gujarat) for the Lok Sabha Elections 2014.
Varanasi:
On the evening of 15th March 2014 Shri Narendra Modi was announced as the BJP’s candidate from Varanasi. The same evening Shri Modi thanked the Party for giving him the opportunity to contest from Varanasi. He had shared on Twitter:

On 20th December 2013 Shri Narendra Modi had addressed the Vijay Shankhnad Rally in Varanasi. In an elaborate speech, Shri Modi categorically stated that UP is not a political playground but is the key to India’s development. He laid out his vision for the development of both UP and India so that the aspirations of the poor, youth and farmers are fulfilled.
Vadodara:
The BJP nominated Shri Modi as the candidate for the Vadodara Lok Sabha seat on March 19th 2014.
As Chief Minister, Shri Modi has ushered in a series of development schemes and projects for the people of Vadodara. Most recently, he was in Vadodara to inaugurate urban housing projects and a state of the art bus terminus, that has become the pride of Gujarat.
