એક ટ્વિટમાં, પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું; "અમારા કુસ્તીબાજો અમને ગર્વ કરાવે છે. @Phogat_Vinesh અને @BajrangPuniaને વર્લ્ડ રેસલિંગ ચેમ્પિયનશીપ, બેલગ્રેડમાં બ્રોન્ઝ મેડલ જીતવા બદલ અભિનંદન. આ બંને માટે ખાસ છે કારણ કે વિનેશ આ પ્લેટફોર્મ પર 2 મેડલ જીતનારી 1લી ભારતીય મહિલા બની છે અને બજરંગ પુનિયાએ તેનો ચોથો મેડલ જીત્યો છે."
