Continuing his poll campaign before the third phase of assembly election in West Bengal, PM Modi has addressed two mega rallies in Tarakeshwar and Sonarpur. He said, “We have seen a glimpse of what results are going to come on 2 May in Nandigram two days ago. I know for sure, with every step of the election, Didi’s panic will increase, her shower of abuse on me will also grow.”

“People in power have failed in developing Bengal. This is the reason why people of Bengal have taken the responsibility for the real change in the state,” remarked PM Modi in public meeting in Tarakeshwar.

Launching an all-out tirade against Mamata Banerjee, PM Modi asserted, “If a player raises a question on the umpire time and again, we know there's some problem in his/her game. In politics, if someone questions the EVM or the EC time and again, we must understand the game's over.”

“Didi, democracy is not a 'khela' it's a way to serve the people, you have forgotten all of this. You have betrayed the people pf Bengal. Didi, defeat is before you, listen to the cheer by the people of Hooghly,” he said.

PM Modi reiterated the TMC looted the Panchayats and Panchayat elections. “State administration is being run from TMC party offices. People of TMC have taken advantage of all the troubles that people of Bengal suffer,” he further added.

Coming down hard on Mamata didi’s lies, he said, “Didi says people take money to attend BJP rallies. Didi, Bengalis are self-respecting people. Didi, you have insulted the people of Bengal with this statement.”

“A major reason for Didi's bewilderment is her report card of 10 years. Old industries have been shut down. Possibilities of new industries, new investment, new business and employment have also been closed down,” he added futher.

PM Modi asserted, “Didi has not allowed farmers of Bengal to avail benefits of central schemes. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will be implemented in the first cabinet meeting after we are voted to power in Bengal. Centre wanted to give 'no guarantee' bank loans for street vendors. All states reaped benefits but Didi did not allow this in Bengal. Didi also not allowed the centre to implement Ayushman Bharat scheme in Bengal, it would have helped several people of Bengal for taking free health treatment upto Rs 5 lakh.”

Also, he said, “The blocked mentality of Didi and her party has affected connectivity in the region as well. TMC leaders are forming several blockades for railway lines in the region. Funds for water treatment plants in Hooghly have gone down the drain.”

Reciting his favorite slogan ‘Raag Keno Didi’ in Sonarpur, PM Modi said, “People of Bengal allowed you 10 years to perform, but you didn't. So why this anger now? Is it because you did not get an opportunity to cast false votes at will?”

“10 years ago, Didi used to believe a lot in the same security forces and Election Commission that she is defaming today. These same agencies and EVM were good when they helped you to power in Bengal for 10 years Didi, you should trust the people of Bengal. People of Bengal have given their verdict. It is decided that you will have to leave Nabanna with your Taka Maar Company (TMC),” the PM remarked.

Talking about the wrong advices given to Mamata Banerjee, he said, “Mamata Didi is surrounded by people who tender wrong advices. Some people in TMC had decided to field Mamata Didi from another seat but some intelligent persons told her that it would be her second biggest mistake. Some people told her that if she would lose both seats, it will become very difficult for TMC to function as a party.”

“Now, we heard that she has been asked to contest from Varanasi in Loksabha elections. Didi, you will not be called 'outsider' or 'tourist' when you go to Varanasi. The people of Kashi have big hearts - they won't call you outsiders - just like the people of Bengal. You will find many people with 'tilak' and 'choti.' However, with every step you will hear 'Har har Mahadev' chant'. You will find a lot of devotees there, that might unsettle and baffle you,” he remarked.

PM Modi has left no stone unturned in targeting Mamta Banerjee for her mis-governance, he alleged that TMC hates Digital India initiatives, because it shuts off cut-money, pilferage and corruption. Urging everyone to vote for the BJP in large numbers in upcoming elections, he said, “Sonar Bangla ka hai Vishwas, Double Engine se Double Vikas”.
