Terrorism is one of the biggest challenges the world is facing today: PM

While addressing joint press statement with French President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "India and France enjoy deep-rooted ties. Our nations have been working together for a very long time, bilaterally & multilaterally."

He added that be it trade and technology, innovation and investment, energy, education and enterprise, both the countries wanted to give a boost the ties. The Prime Minister repeated, "We want to improve the cultural relations between India and France. Several Indians fought in the first two world wars for world peace."

Speaking about climate change, the PM opined, "Paris Agreement is a shared legacy of the world. It will benefit the future generations as well. Paris Agreement reflects our duty towards protecting the Earth and our natural resources. For us, this is an article of faith. We have natural resources because our previous generations protected these resources. We must do the same for our future."
