Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his remarks at the first working session of G20 Summit in Hamburg stressed on global growth and trade. Speaking at length about the GST, PM Modi said that it was aimed at unification of the Indian market.
PM Modi stated further said that rise of protectionism threatened gains from globalisation. He added that G20 must must speak in one voice to support and sustain a regime of openness.
Shri Modi also laid out the Government of India's vision for development of the country at rapid pace.
He urged the G20 to carry forward the drive against black money and corruption.
