The Congress and its ‘Mahamilawati’ allies spent decades ruling the country but could not eradicate poverty from the country: PM Modi
The reason that people do not trust the false promises made by the Congress anymore is because they have seen its past track-record: PM Modi in M.P.
In the past months, thepeople of M.P. have witnessed how the state government of Congress has totally failed to meet the expectations of the people: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two major rallies in Sagar and Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh after addressing another such rally in U.P earlier today.

Lashing out at the previous Congress-led UPA governments for failing to uplift people’s lives out of poverty despite ruling the country for decades, PM Modi said, “The Congress and its ‘Mahamilawati’ allies spent decades ruling the country but could not eradicate poverty from the country and neither provide access to basic necessities of life to the poor. All that should have been done by governments in previous decades is being done by us during the 21st century such as providing sanitation, electricity and clean cooking fuel to the poor. This is the reason that people do not trust the false promises made by the Congress anymore because they have seen its past track-record.”

Describing how the 2019 Lok Sabha elections are a contest between dynasty versus development, PM Modi said, “While on one hand, there is the ‘Mahamilwati’ parties with their falsehood, abusive and divisive campaign with the sole aim of removing Modi from power, on the other hand is the people’s ‘Chowkidar’ (PM Modi) continuously moving forward with the aim of serving India and its people. However, the people of this country are the best judges as they have seen how despite the tall promises made by Congress and its allies, they never actually fulfilled those promises and instead enriched themselves and promoted nepotism. The BJP-led NDA government, on the contrary, has been taking strong, bold decisions in the long-term interests of the people without discriminating on the basis of caste or creed or indulging in corruption since 2014. The people of Madhya Pradesh in particular have witnessed how the state government of Congress has totally failed to meet the expectations of the people or to address their grievances. This makes me certain that M.P. is again eager to be governed by the BJP and its mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas.”
