Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge public meeting in Kalaburagi, Karnataka today.

Addressing the large crowd of supporters, PM Modi listed out key infrastructure projects that were inaugurated in Kalaburagi as well as those that were initiated all over in Karnataka since 2014. He said, “The health infrastructural projects inaugurated and initiated today will go a long way in considerably improving ease of living for the people of Karnataka as well as provide them with the latest treatment services.”

PM Modi further described several major decisions and schemes at the national level which will transform the lives of people through various social security schemes, thereby enhancing their standards of living. He described the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the newly-launched PM-KISAN Yojana and the PM-SYM Yojana as some of the most historic schemes implemented in post-independence India that will greatly improve the lives of the most vulnerable groups in society in the times to come.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi also spoke at length about how the Congress-JD(S) combine in Karnataka had failed to live upto its election promises of total farm-loan waivers and remarked, “This falsehood of promises is not new for the Congress. They have done it several times to the farmers as a result of which, our farmers had suffer many difficulties over the years. We are now closely working towards systematically addressing the issues of our farmers and to make them financially secure.”

Concluding his wide-ranging address to the large number of supporters, PM Modi said that the country witnessed rapid development during the last five years after several years of corrupt governance prevalent during Congress rule and that it was very crucial for the country that this high pace of development continues to meet the demands of the 21st century India.

He added that the country will always prefer a stable and secure government to govern it in the future instead of some vague alliances of vested political interests.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute more than 71,000 appointment letters to newly appointed recruits on 23rd December at around 10:30 AM through video conferencing. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord highest priority to employment generation. It will provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their participation in nation building and self empowerment.

Rozgar Mela will be held at 45 locations across the country. The recruitments are taking place for various Ministries and Departments of the Central Government. The new recruits, selected from across the country will be joining various Ministries/Departments including Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services, among others.
