એક વર્ષ કરતા ઓછા સમયગાળામાં પ્રધાનમંત્રી ઉજ્જવલા યોજનાના લાભાર્થીઓની સંખ્યા 2 કરોડથી વધી ગઈ છે એના પર પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આનંદ વ્યક્ત કર્યો છે.
પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, “પ્રધાનમંત્રી ઉજ્જવલા યોજનામાં લાભાર્થીઓની સંખ્યા એક વર્ષ કરતા ઓછા ગાળામાં 2 કરોડથી વધી ગઈ છે એ ખુશી અને ગર્વની વાત છે! ઉજ્જવલા યોજના ગરીબ મહિલાઓના જીવનની ગુણવત્તામાં ફેરફાર લાવવા મજબૂત પ્રતિબદ્ધતા વ્યક્ત કરે છે. હું ઉજ્જવલા યોજનાના તમામ લાભાર્થીઓને અને જેઓ આ યોજનાને સફળ બનાવવા રાતદિવસ કામ કરે છે એ તમામને અભિનંદન આપું છું.”
