On Wednesday 19thDecember 2012 Shri Narendra Modi reviewed preparations of upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit 2013. The following are the salient points of the upcoming summit:

  • Mega Exhibition of 1 lakh square meters at Helipad Ground to be held
  • More than 100 nations to participate in the 2013 Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit.
  • More than 5000 delegates to attend the summit.
  • Japan and Canada to be the partner nations.
  • 57 pre-summit investment meets held already.
  • Through the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit, Gujarat has made a unique place for itself on the economic map of the world.
  • Mahatma Mandir to be a global destination on 11th, 12th and 13th January 2013
  • Industrial Development, Investment, creation of employment in this summit will strengthen the development journey of Gujarat.

Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella met with Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

Shri Modi expressed his happiness to know about Microsoft's ambitious expansion and investment plans in India. Both have discussed various aspects of tech, innovation and AI in the meeting.

Responding to the X post of Satya Nadella about the meeting, Shri Modi said;
