મારા વ્હાલા દેશવાસીઓ, નમસ્કાર. ‘મન કી બાત’માં એક વાર ફરી આપણને જોડાવવાનો અવસર મળ્યો છે. આજનો આ episode મને ભાવુક કરનારો છે, મને ઘણી જૂની યાદોથી ઘેરી રહ્યો છે – કારણ એ છે કે ‘મન કી બાત’ની આપણી આ યાત્રાને 10 વર્ષ પૂરા થઈ રહ્યા છે. 10 વર્ષ પહેલા ‘મન કી બાત’નો પ્રારંભ 3 ઓક્ટોબરના વિજયાદશમીના દિવસે થયો હતો અને આ કેટલો પવિત્ર સંયોગ છે, કે આ વર્ષે 3 ઓક્ટોબરે જ્યારે ‘મન કી બાત’ને 10 વર્ષ પૂરા થશે, ત્યારે, નવરાત્રિનો પહેલો દિવસ હશે. ‘મન કી બાત’ની લાંબી યાત્રાના કેટલાય એવા પડાવ છે, જેને હું ક્યારેય ભૂલી નહિ શકું. ‘મન કી બાત’ના કરોડો શ્રોતાઓ આપણી આ યાત્રાના એવા સાથી છે, જેમનો મને નિરંતર સહયોગ મળતો રહ્યો છે. દેશના ખૂણે-ખૂણે તેમણે જાણકારી ઉપલબ્ધ કરાવી. ‘મન કી બાત’ના શ્રોતાઓ જ આ કાર્યક્રમના ખરા સૂત્રધાર છે. સામાન્ય રીતે એક એવી ધારણા ઘર કરી ગઈ છે કે જ્યાં સુધી ચટપટી વાતો ન હોય, નકારાત્મક વાતો ન હોય ત્યાં સુધી તેને વધુ ધ્યાન નથી મળતું. પરંતુ ‘મન કી બાત’એ સાબિત કર્યું છે કે દેશના લોકોમાં positive માહિતીની કેટલી ભૂખ છે. Positive વાતો, પ્રેરણાથી ભરી દેનારા ઉદાહરણો, હિંમત આપનારી ગાથાઓ, લોકોને ખૂબ પસંદ આવે છે. જેમ એક પક્ષી હોય છે ‘ચાતક’ જેના માટે કહેવાય છે કે તે માત્ર વરસાદના ટીપાં જ પીએ છે. ‘મન કી બાત’માં આપણે જોયું કે લોકો પણ ચાતક પક્ષીની જેમ, દેશની સિદ્ધિઓને, લોકોની સામૂહિક સિદ્ધિઓને, કેટલા ગર્વથી સાંભળે છે.
