પ્રવાસી ભારતીય દિવસ (PBD) સંમેલન એ ભારત સરકાર દ્વારા યોજવામાં આવતા મુખ્ય કાર્યક્રમ પૈકી એક છે. આ કાર્યક્રમ વિદેશમાં વસતા ભારતીયો સાથે જોડાવા માટે અને તેમની સાથે જોડાણ સ્થાપિત કરવા માટે અને ડાયસ્પોરા (વિદેશી ભારતીય નાગરિકો) એકબીજા સાથે સંપર્ક કરી શકે તે માટે તેમને સમર્થ બનાવવા માટેનું એક મહત્વપૂર્ણ પ્લેટફોર્મ પૂરું પાડે છે. ઇન્દોરમાં 08થી 10 જાન્યુઆરી 2023 દરમિયાન મધ્યપ્રદેશ સરકારની ભાગીદારી સાથે 17મા પ્રવાસી ભારતીય દિવસ સંમેલનનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે. આ PBD સંમેલનની થીમ ડાયાસ્પોરા: અમૃતકાળમાં ભારતની પ્રગતિ માટે વિશ્વસનીય ભાગીદારો રાખવામાં આવી છે. લગભગ વિવિધ 70 દેશોમાંથી 3,500 કરતાં વધુ ડાયસ્પોરા સભ્યોએ PBD સંમેલન માટે નોંધણી કરાવી છે.પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ પ્રવાસી ભારતીય દિવસ પર ભારતીય ડાયસ્પોરાને શુભેચ્છા પાઠવી
