યંગ ઇન્ડિયા, ન્યૂ ઇન્ડિયા' ના થીમ પર વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ વિદ્યાર્થીઓના કન્વેન્શનને સંબોધિત કર્યું હતું. સ્વામી વિવેકાનંદના શિકાગોના ઉદબોધનને યાદ કરતા, વડાપ્રધાને ટીપ્પણી કરી હતી કે 'માત્ર થોડાક શબ્દોથી ભારતના એક યુવાને વિશ્વને જીતી લીધું હતું અને એકતાની શક્તિ બતાવી દીધી હતી.' તેમણે ઉમેર્યું હતું કે સ્વામી વિવેકાનંદના વિચારોમાંથી ઘણુબધું શીખી શકાય છે.
