PM Modi held a joint press briefing with Prime Minister of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc. During the press statement, PM Modi mentioned that both the countries have agreed to deepen their defense and security engagement. PM Modi visited the Quan Su Pagoda in Hanoi, Vietnam today. Speaking at the Pagoda, the PM said that India’s relationship with Vietnam is about 2000 years old. PM Modi invited Vietnamese citizens to travel to India, the land of Buddha. PM Narendra Modi arrived at Hanoi, Vietnam. During the bilateral visit, PM Modi would hold talks with Prime Minister of Vietnam Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc. PM Modi would be visiting Vietnam to further cement the close bond between both countries. PM would hold talks with Prime Minister of Vietnam Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc. The PM would also meet the President of Vietnam, Mr. Tran Dai Quang and several other dignitaries. Shri Modi would pay homage to Ho Chi Minh, lay a wreath at the Monument of National Heroes and Martyrs as well as visit the Quan Su Pagoda.
