At a programme to honour the outstanding Parliamentarians, PM Modi said that Parliament was a forum to debate and even criticise the Government. પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે નવી દિલ્હીમાં ભારતીય સંસદીય સમૂહ (ઇન્ડિયન પાર્લામેન્ટરી ગ્રુપ) દ્વારા આયોજીત ઉત્કૃષ્ઠ સાંસદ પુરસ્કાર સમારંભમાં હાજરી આપી હતી. ભારતના માનનીય રાષ્ટ્રપતી શ્રી રામનાથ કોવિંદે સંસદના સેન્ટ્ર હોલમાં ઉત્કૃષ્ઠ કામગીરી કરનાર સાંસદોને પુરસ્કારો એનાયત કર્યા હતા. ઉપરાષ્ટ્રપતિ શ્રી એમ. વેંકૈયા નાયડુ અને લોકસભાનાં સ્પીકર શ્રીમતી સુમિત્રા મહાજન પણ આ પ્રસંગે હાજર રહ્યા હતા.
