અહીં ઉપસ્થિત જનમેદનીને સંબોધતા પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, અમેઠી સંસદ ખેલ પ્રતિયોગિતા 2023માં ભાગ લઈ રહેલા લોકો સાથે જોડાવાની વિશેષ લાગણી છે. આ મહિનો દેશમાં રમતગમત માટે શુભ છે કારણ કે ભારતીય ખેલાડીઓએ એશિયન ગેમ્સમાં ચંદ્રકોની સદી ફટકારી છે તેની નોંધ લેતા પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ ધ્યાન દોર્યું હતું કે અમેઠીના ઘણા ખેલાડીઓએ પણ અમેઠી સંસદ ખેલ પ્રતિયોગિતામાં ભાગ લઈને આ કાર્યક્રમો વચ્ચે તેમની રમતગમતની પ્રતિભાનું પ્રદર્શન કર્યું છે. તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે, રમતવીરોને આ સ્પર્ધામાંથી જે નવી ઊર્જા અને આત્મવિશ્વાસ મળ્યો છે, તેનો અનુભવ થઈ શકે છે અને હવે આ ઉત્સાહને સંભાળીને શ્રેષ્ઠ પરિણામો માટે તેને તૈયાર કરવાનો સમય આવી ગયો છે. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, છેલ્લા 25 દિવસમાં તમે જે અનુભવ મેળવ્યો છે, તે તમારી રમતગમતની કારકિર્દી માટે મહાન મૂડી છે. તેમણે શિક્ષક, કૉચ, શાળા કે કૉલેજના પ્રતિનિધિની ભૂમિકામાં આ મહાન અભિયાનમાં જોડાઈને આ યુવા ખેલાડીઓને ટેકો અને પ્રોત્સાહન આપનાર દરેક વ્યક્તિને અભિનંદન આપવાની તક ઝડપી લીધી હતી. તેમણે ભારપૂર્વક જણાવ્યું હતું કે, એક લાખથી વધારે ખેલાડીઓનો મેળાવડો પોતાનામાં જ એક મોટી બાબત છે અને ખાસ કરીને અમેઠીનાં સાંસદ સ્મૃતિ ઇરાનીજીને અભિનંદન આપ્યાં હતાં, કે જેમણે આ કાર્યક્રમને આટલો સફળ બનાવ્યો હતો.
