6 crore Gujaratis are unanimous against injustice and unanimous for development: Shri Modi

On Saturday 1st December 2012 after offering prayers at the Somnath Temple, Shri Narendra Modi addressed large public gatherings in Khambha, Veraval and Mahuva. He stated that the Congress is not worried about the nation, its youth or the farmers but is only interested in votebank politics and filling its coffers. He stated that the agenda of the BJP is ‘Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas.” He expressed confidence that the along with entire Gujarat, Congress will be wiped out it Kutch-Kathiawar region.

Shri Modi asked, looking at the large number of scams in Delhi could we give Gujarat to the Congress? He recalled the votebank politics the Congress practiced in Gujarat and when there was curfew was a daily affair. He spoke on the dangers of caste politics and said some states have suffered due to caste politics for many years.

He affirmed that when it comes to cheating the people there is no match for the Congress. He recalled that in 2009 the Congress promised to bring prices down in 100 days but not only has that promised remain unfulfilled but also they have snatched away gas cylinders.

The Chief Minister said that in 2007 UPA Chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi had come to Chhota Udepur and the media had said ‘Modi will be wiped out’ but the Congress was wiped out in Chhota Udepur. Shri Modi shared that when it came to number of Government engineering colleges, Congress ruled Maharashtra has 7, Rajasthan has 10 and Andhra Pradesh has 10 whereas in Gujarat the number is 19! Similarly, the fees in Government engineering Colleges in Maharashtra is Rs. 25,000, in Rajasthan Rs. 45,000 and Haryana is Rs. 40,000 (all these states are ruled by the Congress) while the fees are in Gujarat are Rs. 1,500.

He said that it is for the people to decide what Government they want and added that the BJP Government in the last 11 years has not only worked for the present but also the future generations. Shri Modi affirmed that 6 crore Gujaratis are unanimous against injustice and unanimous for development!
