Narendra Modi calls for indigenous R&D for Armed Forces; offers Gujarat as a manufacturing base

Ahmedabad, Friday: Chief Minister Narendra Modi today called upon defence scientists and experts for indigenous research and development of latest defence equipments, engineering and technology for Indian Armed Forces. He offered Gujarat as a platform for research, design, development and manufacturing of the latest defence weaponry.

He was speaking at a function to present Vasvik awards to 25 instituted by Mumbai-based Vividhlakshi Audyogk Sanshodhan Vikas Kendra (VASVIK) for scientific and industrial research. He also honoured noted scientist Prof M.G.K. Menon.

PM to participate in the Constitution Day celebrations on 26th November

On the momentous occasion of completion of 75 years of adoption of the Constitution of India, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will participate in the Constitution Day celebrations on 26th November at around 5 PM at the Auditorium, Administrative Building Complex of the Supreme Court. He will release the Annual Report of the Indian Judiciary(2023-24). He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The programme is being organised by the Supreme Court of India. The Chief Justice of India and other Judges of the Supreme Court will also be present.
