Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has congratulated the state health department for the FICCI Healthcare Excellence Award-2013 received by the Community Health Centre and Satyagraha Hospital of Bardoli in Surat (rural) for providing quality health services.
Giving details of this award the state government spokesperson health minister Nitin Patel said that Community Health Centre and Satyagraha Hospital of Bardoli of Surat district is the first accredited centre as per the national standards of NABH (National Accreditation board for Hospital and Healthcare Providers-India) and this Healthcare Centre bagged the FICCI Healthcare Excellence Award-2013 for the quality Healthcare services and operational excellence.
This award has been given to the government and private hospitals and diagnostic centre for quality healthcare services, this award is the joint venture of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) and Quality Council of India and National Accreditation board for Hospital and Healthcare Providers-India (NABH).
The Health Minister said that about 120 private-government organizations had taken part for this award, and the community health centre and Satyagraha hospital of Bardoli of Surat district received this award as the best health organization for delivering quality and assured medical treatments to the patients.
Even as the state government is committed to provide various healthcare services to the poor and remotest people of the state through the schemes such as Mukhymantri Amrutam (MA), Chiranjivi yojna and 108 emergency ambulance service, this award is yet more feather to the cap of the State government.
