Shri Narendra Modi has repeatedly stressed on the importance of caring for our animals. To provide quality healthcare facilities for animals, the Government of Gujarat organises Animal Husbandry Fairs along with the Krishi Mahotsavs. Due to such interventions, 122 animal diseases that have been completely eradicated from Gujarat. Cataract operations and dental surgeries have been performed on animals for a long time. Continuing with the efforts of providing healthcare to animals this time orthopedic treatment is also being provided to the animals. Shri Modi has strongly urged the farmers to visit the agriculture fairs and the animal husbandry fairs and gain insightful knowledge from them.
