World-known IT expert Mr. Sabir Bhatia today made a presentation before Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi regarding creating a NANOCITY global knowledge centre near Dholera SIR.

Mr. Bhatia while praising Chief Minister's vision said that intellectual talent of Indian youths needs to be encouraged so that youths can come up with novel innovations.

The proposed NANOCITY project will be spread in 4,000-acre and will provide world-class facilities for the innovation and research in energy sector.

Chief Minister said there is a great scope for research and growth in the fields of petroleum and solar energy in Gujarat as the State is blessed with abundance of natural resources and solar energy. Chief Minister showed keenness to extend positive support to the project.

Chief Minister also talked about the world-class I-create incubation and entrepreneurship centre which is going to be set up in Gujarat in guidance of Mr. Narayan Murthy.

Minister of State for Energy Mr. Saurabh Patel, Chief Secretary Mr. A K Joti, Secretaries Mr. M. Shrivastava, M. Shahu, Mr. K. Kailasnathan, Mr. A K Sharma and Mr. Sabir Bhatia along with his teammates were present on the occasion.

Mahotsav aims to celebrate Rural India’s entrepreneurial spirit and cultural heritage

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate Grameen Bharat Mahotsav 2025 on 4th January, at around 10:30 AM, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

Celebrating Rural India's entrepreneurial spirit and cultural heritage, the Mahotsav will be held from 4th to 9th January with the theme 'Building a Resilient Rural India for a Viksit Bharat 2047’ and motto “गांव बढ़े, तो देश बढ़े”.

The Mahotsav, through various discussions, workshops and masterclasses, aims to enhance rural infrastructure, create self-reliant economies, and foster innovation within rural communities. Its objectives include promoting economic stability and financial security among rural populations, with a special focus on North-East India, by addressing financial inclusion and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.

A significant focus of the Mahotsav will be to empower rural women through entrepreneurship; bring together government officials, thought leaders, rural entrepreneurs, artisans and stakeholders from diverse sectors to build a roadmap for collaborative and collective rural transformation; encourage discussions around leveraging technology and innovative practices to enhance rural livelihoods; and showcase India's rich cultural heritage through vibrant performances and exhibitions.
