Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed and interacted with various students, during the Pariskha pe Charcha, 2024. While interacting with students, he also revealed his secret about remaining positive despite stressful situations. He added that one must have a mindset to stand firm during challenges and adverse conditions. He said one should always be solution-oriented and a problem-solver, as these attributes can help one overcome stressful situations. He said that these attributes have enabled him to provide last-mile saturation of various schemes to the targeted beneficiaries.
He added that as he realises the potential of 140 crore Indians and their ability to challenge challenging situations, he is able to overcome all his problems and stand firm with the country. He added that it was only when the country was determined to eliminate poverty that poverty was eliminated, leading to 25 crore people exiting poverty over the last 10 years. Facing challenges with confidence can even result in the resolution of complex problems.
PM Modi said that trust in his own ability and the abilities of the 140 crore Indians give him the confidence to deal with all challenges. Analysing and prioritising situations also helps one overcome problems, he added. One should continuously learn from his/her mistakes, as that provides the experience of dealing with challenging circumstances.
Moreover, one should realise that if we recognise the true potential of all and motivate them to do well, appreciating every effort and achievement, then one can effectively face all challenges and adverse situations.

Prime Minister visited the Indian Arrival monument at Monument Gardens in Georgetown today. He was accompanied by PM of Guyana Brig (Retd) Mark Phillips. An ensemble of Tassa Drums welcomed Prime Minister as he paid floral tribute at the Arrival Monument. Paying homage at the monument, Prime Minister recalled the struggle and sacrifices of Indian diaspora and their pivotal contribution to preserving and promoting Indian culture and tradition in Guyana. He planted a Bel Patra sapling at the monument.

The monument is a replica of the first ship which arrived in Guyana in 1838 bringing indentured migrants from India. It was gifted by India to the people of Guyana in 1991.
