Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has expressed his happiness on receiving a heartwarming welcome from the vibrant Indian diaspora in Kuwait. Prime Minister Shri Modi remarked that their energy, love and unwavering connection to India are truly inspiring.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has also expressed his happiness in meeting Shri Mangal Sain Handa Ji in Kuwait this afternoon.

In a post on X, he wrote:

“Received a heartwarming welcome from the vibrant Indian diaspora in Kuwait.

Their energy, love and unwavering connection to India are truly inspiring. Grateful for their enthusiasm and proud of their contributions to strengthening ties between our nations.”

“Delighted to have met Shri @MangalSainHanda Ji in Kuwait this afternoon. I admire his contribution to India and his passion for India's development.”

First such instance that a Prime Minister will attend such a programme at the Headquarters of the Catholic Church in India

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will attend the Christmas Celebrations hosted by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) at the CBCI Centre premises, New Delhi at 6:30 PM on 23rd December.

Prime Minister will interact with key leaders from the Christian community, including Cardinals, Bishops and prominent lay leaders of the Church.

This is the first time a Prime Minister will attend such a programme at the Headquarters of the Catholic Church in India.

Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) was established in 1944 and is the body which works closest with all the Catholics across India.
