PM Modi dedicates phase I of SAUNI project to the Nation
PM Modi calls for extensive use of drip irrigation, says Government is working on ways to help double incomes in the agriculture sectorবোতাড়ে সৌনি (সৌরাষ্ট্র নর্মদা অবতরণ সেচ ব্যবস্থা) যোজনার প্রথম পর্যয়টিমঙ্গলবার জাতির উদ্দেশে উৎসর্গ করলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী। একই সঙ্গে তিনি এদিন শিলান্যাস করেন সৌনি যোজনার দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়ের।
এর আগে একটি বোতাম টিপে এবং ফুলের পাপড়ি ছড়িয়ে নর্মদার জলকে কৃষ্ণ সাগরেস্বাগত জানান প্রধানমন্ত্রী।
এই উপলক্ষে এক জনসমাবেশে ভাষণদানকালে শ্রী মোদী জলকে প্রকৃতির এক পবিত্রদান বলে বর্ণনা করেন। তিনি বলেন, নর্মদা নদীর আশীর্বাদধন্য জল প্রবাহিত হচ্ছেসৌরাষ্ট্রে। এই ঘটনা বহু পরিশ্রমের ফল, যাতে উপকৃত হবেন কৃষিজীবী সাধারণ মানুষ।
নর্মদা সহ নদীর জল সংরক্ষণ প্রচেষ্টায় মধ্যপ্রদেশের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শ্রীশিবরাজ সিং চৌহানের ভূমিকারও ভুয়সী প্রশংসা করেন তিনি।
জল সিঞ্চনের মতো সেচ ব্যবস্থার ব্যাপক প্রসারের আহ্বান জানিয়েপ্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, কৃষি ক্ষেত্রে আয় ও উপার্জনকে দ্বিগুণ করে তোলার লক্ষ্যেসচেষ্ট রয়েছে কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার।
