প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আজ উত্তরাখণ্ডের শ্রীনগর এবং পিথোরাগড়ে এক জনসভায় ভাষণ দিলেন।

ভাষণকালে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বললেন, উত্তরাখণ্ড, ছত্তিসগঢ় ও ঝাড়খণ্ড- তিন রাজ্যের ছাড়পত্রই একসঙ্গে দেন প্রাক্তন প্রধানমন্ত্রী অটলবিহারী বাজপেয়ী। কিন্তু বাকি দু’রাজ্য উত্তরাখণ্ডকে পিছনে ফেলে এগিয়ে গিয়েছে। মাও সমস্যা থাকা সত্ত্বেও ছত্তিসগঢ়ের বিজেপি সরকার রাজ্যকে উন্নয়নের পথে দ্রুত এগিয়ে নিয়ে চলেছে। অনগ্রসর ঝাড়খণ্ডেও বিনিয়োগকারীদের আনছে বিজেপি সরকার। তাহলে উত্তরাখণ্ড পিছিয়ে রয়েছে কেন?

বিরোধী দলকে আক্রমণ করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বললেন, "সমাজবাদী পার্টি ও কংগ্রেস উত্তরাখণ্ডকে ধ্বংস করে দিচ্ছে। তারা এখানে মানুষের আকাঙ্খার সঙ্গে খেলছে।"

উত্তরাখণ্ডে পর্যটনের সুযোগ সম্পর্কে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বললেন, "দেবভূমি দেশের সবথেকে বেশি পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণ করতে পারে। উত্তরাখণ্ডে পর্যটন ও সে সংক্রান্ত শিল্পের বিরাট সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।"

শ্রী মোদী আরো বললেন, কেন্দ্র সরকার ভাল রাস্তা দিয়ে চরধামকে সংযোগ করার জন্য ১২,০০০ কোটি টাকা বরাদ্ধ করেছে। তিনি বললেন, "আমরা উত্তরাখন্ডকে সব-আবহাওয়ার উপযোগী রাস্তা দিয়ে সমগ্র দেশের সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত করতে চাই। তাই ১২,০০০ কোটি টাকার রাস্তা তৈরির প্রকল্প ‘চারধাম’-এ হাত দিয়েছি।"

প্রধানমন্ত্রী বললেন, উত্তরাখন্ডের উন্নয়ন ও তার অর্থনীতি আমাদের সরকারের কাছে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। "যখনই কেউ যোগের সমন্ধে চিন্তা করবে তাঁকে হরিদ্বার ও ঋষিকেশ স্মরণ করতে হবে। আমরা সঠিক পরিকাঠামো গড়ে তোলার জন্য উপযুক্ত গতি দেবো।" তিনি আরও বললেন, বিশ্ব হোলিস্টিক স্বাস্থ্যর দিকে এগোচ্ছে। এই খাতের অবদান রাখতে উত্তরাখন্ডে অনেক সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে।"

শ্রী মোদী বললেন পূর্ববর্তী সরকার আমাদের সার্ভিসম্যানদের জন্য কিছুই করেনি। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বললেন, "কংগ্রেস আমাদের এক্স-সার্ভিসম্যানদের প্রতি নজর দেয়নি!" তিনি আরও বললেন, কংগ্রেস এক পদ, এক পেনশন স্কিমের উপহাস করেছে। আমরা ক্ষমতায় আসার পরই এটা বাস্তবায়ন করেছি।"

প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী জোর দিয়ে বলছেন কংগ্রেস ৭০ বছর ধরে দেশকে লুট করেছে এবং তিনি ক্রমাগত দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করেছেন। "আমরা দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে দৃঢ় পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছি এবং কিছু মানুষ তার ফল ফল করছে। যারা দেশকে লুট করেছে তারা রেহাই পাবে না", বললেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। "গরিবদের স্বার্থে সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে আমরা পিছু পা হবো না। কষ্টের সম্মুখীন হবো কিন্তু কাউকে গরিবদের আকাঙ্খার সাথে খেলতে দেবো না।"

প্রধানমন্ত্রীর মন্তব্য, তার সরকার উত্তরাখণ্ডের মানুষদের জীবনযাত্রার মান উন্নত করার জন্য নিবেদিত। "আমাদের সরকার গরিবদের সেবায় নিয়োজিত। আমরা গরিবদেরগ্যাস সংযোগ প্রদান করছি। এর ফলে গ্রামাঞ্চলের বিভিন্ন পরিবার উপকৃত হয়েছে", তিনি বললেন।

প্রধানমন্ত্রীর জোর দিয়ে বললেন যে উত্তরাখন্ডে উন্নয়ন দরকার কিন্তু বর্তমান রাজ্য সরকার এর জন্য কিছুই করছে না। "আমি বিস্মিত হচ্ছি যে কয়েকজন হারদা ট্যাক্স সম্পর্কে বলছে! কিন্তু কেন উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পের কাজ থেমে আছে? এটা অন্যায়ভাবে রাজ্যের অগ্রগতিতে আঘাত করেছে", বললেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী।

এই ইভেন্টে বিজেপির বিভিন্ন নেতৃবৃন্দ এবং কার্যকর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The IATA 81st Annual General Meeting and World Air Transport Summit (WATS) will be held from 1st to 3rd June. The last AGM in India was held 42 years ago in 1983. It brings together more than 1,600 participants including top global aviation industry leaders, government officials and international media representatives.

The World Air Transport Summit will focus on key issues facing the aviation industry including Economics of the Airline industry, Air Connectivity, Energy Security, Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production, Financing Decarbonisation, Innovations among others. The aviation leaders and media representatives from around the world will also get to witness India's remarkable transformation in the aviation landscape and its contribution to the country's socio - economic development.
