At the fourth working session of G20 Summit in Hamburg on 'Digitalisation, Women’s Empowerment and Employment', PM Modi said that borderless digital world represented opportunities but also risks.

The Prime Minister highlighted about of India’s journey to low-cost world-class tech. He spoke about adoption of integrated approach under National Cyber Security Policy.

Prime Minister Modi expressed strong personal conviction for gender empowerment and said that there was no real growth without empowering women.

The PM said that primary endeavour was to connect growth to jobs. He highlighted several areas where the G20 nations could do more like a strong partnership for skilling, encouraging manpower mobility a,d promoting digitization for strengthening labour markets.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage today to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue in the historic Promenade Gardens in Georgetown, Guyana. He recalled Bapu’s eternal values of peace and non-violence which continue to guide humanity. The statue was installed in commemoration of Gandhiji’s 100th birth anniversary in 1969.

Prime Minister also paid floral tribute at the Arya Samaj monument located close by. This monument was unveiled in 2011 in commemoration of 100 years of the Arya Samaj movement in Guyana.
