Interacting with BJP karyakartas in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi said that our focus is on preventive healthcare. This helps the poor and middle class people the most. Along with this, healthcare must also be affordable.

Replying to one Karyakarta’s question on service voter registration, PM Modi said that for those people who are employed in the Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF, CRPF, SSB etc., the Election Commission has made provision of service voter registration for them. It can also be used by their families. It is very simple.

“As a citizen of India, we also have the right and duty to ensure that our name is on the voters' list,” he further added.

Emphasising the role of BJP Karyakartas in expanding the reach of the government's welfare schemes, PM Modi said it is their responsibility to ensure that all central flagship programmes reach their targeted beneficiaries.

Speaking about the 'Pravasi Bharatiya Divas' in Varanasi between January 21 and 23, he urged to the residents -  To make the event a success and to give Kashi a world identity, every citizen should contribute." He also appealed for making the "Swachhata hi Sewa" campaign a success.
