On Thursday 3rd October 2013 Shri Narendra Modi met two individuals, Shri Sandip Kumar and PhD Student from Aligarh Muslim University Tahira. These two individuals received the kidney of a brain dead person from Surat Manjulaben Dhola through transplantation. Both Sandip ji and Tahira ji expressed their happiness at this noble gesture. Shri Modi expressed his best wishes and prayed for their healthy life.
