বন্দর, জাহাজ চলাচল ও জলপথ মন্ত্রক ট্যুইট করে জানিয়েছে বিশ্বব্যাঙ্কের এলপিআই, ২০২৩ রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী অনেক দেশের তুলনায় ভারতীয় বন্দরগুলির দক্ষতা ও উৎপাদনশীলতা সময়ের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে অনেক বেশি উন্নতি করেছে।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী মন্তব্য করেন :

“বন্দর-ভিত্তিক উন্নয়নের ওপর ভিত্তি করে ভারত বাণিজ্য ও সরবরাহের কেন্দ্র হয়ে উঠতে চলেছে।”
