“Gujarat has emerged as the safest and most secured State. Paying adequate importance to social and economic security besides law and order, Gujarat is positioned as a model for others to follow,” said Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister gave call to show Gujarat's strength and efficiency to the world.

Swarnim Rakshashakti Mahotsav for five districts of central zone was held today in Anand. Participating districts – Ahmedabad, Kheda, Vadodara, and Anand- made a grand show of strength by presenting march-past, mass P.T, motorcycle stunt and karate prowess.

The exhibition is aptly titled- Rakshashakti exhibition –was inaugurated by Chief Minister. He spent an hour and saw the exhibits. He also flagged off Swarnim Gujarat Asmita Yatra.

Gujarat has actualized the 3 revolutions -white revolution, green revolution and Saffron-energy revolution- which symbolize the three colours in our national flag, said CM.

Swarnim moments to stay with us, it is filled with many achievements and immense public participation. Administration has displayed exemplary devotion during the last 365 days. As a result of that targets of public service could be achieved. He outlined the theme of Panchshakti Utsav, being held in five different zones.

Paying glowing tributes to Sardar Patel, Chief Minister listed the innovative safety measures taken by State.

Police force remains ready to lay down their lives to protect citizens against terror outfits; they remain proactive to ensure peace and harmony. Curfew and unrest has become a past, said Chief Minister adding that it is our duty to acknowledge the gallantry and devotion of our police force.

Chief Minister listed the achievements of Gujarat. Focus is on human resource development. Gujarat has set up Rakshashakti University with a focus to prepare an excellent force. Gujarat has successfully dealt with cyber crime technological crimes. He described the initiative of establishing Forensic Science University as a milestone one.

With a firm resolve to eradicate malnutrition, Gujarat government has launched Balbhog scheme. Chiranjeevi scheme has saved thousands of mothers and infants.

Gujarat has provided advanced and sophisticated tools for disaster management to local government institutions. Gujarat is having trained force and advance equipment matching the facilities available with developed nations.

Chief Minister highlighted the success of green-drives and Van-Utsav.

Shri Fakirbhai Vaghela, Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, lauded Shri Narendra Modi's initiative to install Sardar Saheb's Statue –Statue of Unity.

Winners of drawing and elocution contests were felicitated with a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and Rs 15000. The teams of D.D.I.T won cash prize of Rs 15000/ for website pamphlet contests.

Minister of State for Home, Shri Praful Patel proposed vote of thanks.

S Shri Balvantsinh, Collector Smt Avantika Singh, D.S.P. Shri A.K.Jadeja were present.
