India-UK partnership is nurtured by our shared values & people-to-people linkages: PM Modi

During the joint press statement with the UK Prime Minister, PM Narendra Modi said that the strategic partnership between both countries is geared towards meeting 21st century challenges and contributing to global good. PM stated that Science and Technology is a vibrant and fast growing space in India-UK partnership. Both countries discussed defence & security partnership. The UK also backed India’s membership of UNSC and NSG.

Addressing India-UK Tech Summit, PM Modi today said that both countries, the two countries linked by history, could work together to define knowledge economy of 21st century. Prime Minister said that the world is at an inflection point where technology advancement is transformational. PM Modi added that Science, Technology and Innovation are immense growth forces and will play a very significant role in India-UK relationship.
