প্রধানমন্ত্রী লাক্সন এবং তাঁর প্রতিনিধি দলকে আমি ভারতে আন্তরিক স্বাগত জানাই। ভারতের সঙ্গে প্রধানমন্ত্রী লাক্সনের দীর্ঘ সম্পর্ক রয়েছে। আমরা সবাই দেখেছি, মাত্র কয়েক দিন আগে তিনি অকল্যান্ডে কীভাবে হোলির আনন্দ উদযাপনে মেতে উঠেছিলেন! নিউজিল্যান্ডে বসবাসকারী ভারতীয় বংশোদ্ভুতদের সঙ্গে প্রধানমন্ত্রী লাক্সনের সম্পর্ক কতটা নিবিড় তা বোঝা যায় তাঁর সঙ্গে ভারত সফরে আসা প্রতিনিধি দলের দিকে তাকালে, সেখানে বহু সংখ্যক ভারতীয় বংশোদ্ভুত রয়েছেন। এই বছর রাইসিনা বার্তালাপে তাঁর মতো একজন তরুণ, উৎসাহ উদ্দীপনায় পরিপূর্ণ, প্রতিভাবান নেতাকে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে পেয়ে আমরা অত্যন্ত আনন্দিত।
