A memorable welcome for PM Modi in Kashi!

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a massive roadshow in his Lok Sabha constituency of Varanasi today, the people welcomed him with tremendous enthusiasm. People from all walks of life joined PM Modi as the roadshow progressed through the heart of Kashi.

Prime Minister Modi began the roadshow after paying floral tributes to Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya.

 

Starting from Lanka, PM Modi's roadshow passed through Assi, Bhadini and Sonarpura before culminating at the iconic Dashashwamedh Ghat, where he took part in the Ganga Arti.

Lakhs of people gathered on the streets, on roofs of buildings to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister. The atmosphere was euphoric in Kashi as the people waved to the Prime Minister, showered flower petals throughout the roadshow amid chants of "Modi-Modi". Touched by the people's affection, the Prime Minister too waved and greeted the people.

Several BJP leaders including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, several union ministers and leaders of allied parties joined the roadshow along with the Prime Minister.

PM to participate in ‘Odisha Parba 2024’ on 24 November

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will participate in the ‘Odisha Parba 2024’ programme on 24 November at around 5:30 PM at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

Odisha Parba is a flagship event conducted by Odia Samaj, a trust in New Delhi. Through it, they have been engaged in providing valuable support towards preservation and promotion of Odia heritage. Continuing with the tradition, this year Odisha Parba is being organised from 22nd to 24th November. It will showcase the rich heritage of Odisha displaying colourful cultural forms and will exhibit the vibrant social, cultural and political ethos of the State. A National Seminar or Conclave led by prominent experts and distinguished professionals across various domains will also be conducted.
