Shri Narendra Modi unveils year 2014 calendar

Gandhinagar, Saturday: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today unveiled the calendar for year 2014 of Government of Gujarat.

The yearly calendar for 2014 has been published by Information Commissioner and printed by Government Photo-Litho Press and Stationery Department of the State Government.

Along with this Chief Minister also launched today two books “Sushashan Jan Jan ni Anubhuti” in Gujarati and “Good Governance – People’s Voice” in English, also published by Information Department of the State Government.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Modi said that these two books have been launched as the nation celebrates Good Governance Day as part of India’s former Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday.

During past one decade, Gujarat achieved spectacular all round development with people’s participation under the leadership of Chief Minister Narendra Modi, the nation has started realizing.

On the occasion were present Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Mr. Girishchandra Murmu, Commissioner of Information Mr. Bhagyesh Jha, Mr. Jayeshbhai Shah from DGPS, Joint Directors of Information Department Mr. Arvind Patel and Mr. Pulak Trivedi and other officials of Information Department.

Rt Hon David Lammy, Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today.

PM Modi expressed satisfaction at the successful conclusion of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement and Double Contribution Convention and appreciated the constructive engagement by both sides that led to this milestone.

PM Modi welcomed the growing momentum in bilateral ties and expressed satisfaction at the deepening of the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. He welcomed the continued collaboration under the Technology Security Initiative and noted its potential to shape trusted and secure innovation ecosystems.

PM Modi underscored the need for a decisive international action against terrorism and those who support it.

Prime Minister conveyed his warm greetings to the UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and reiterated the invitation for his visit to India at the earliest mutual convenience.
