Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his vote for Gujarat Assembly election in Ahmedabad. After casting his vote, in a short address, the PM appreciated the people for taking part in the electoral process.

PM Modi said, "Elections are like festivals of democracy. I thank the people who are enriching this festival by their participation. I also thank the Election Commission for the enhancing the prestige of our democracy."
