Addressing the India Today Conclave, PM Modi said that he works on deadlines than headlines. He added that reforms are being undertaken to enable India become the 3rd largest economy in the world. He said that 'Ease of Living' has been our priority and we are ensuring various initiatives to empower the common man.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to the collapse of a bridge in Vadodara district, Gujarat. Shri Modi also wished speedy recovery for those injured in the accident.
The Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia from PMNRF of Rs. 2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 for those injured.
