Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with BJP booth Karyakartas from five Lok Sabha seats, Raipur, Mysore, Damoh, Karauli-Dholpur and Agra.

PM Modi began his interaction by saying, “I am glad to be interacting with booth workers across the country on the auspicious first day of Navratri. Our interaction today should inspire every worker to work for the whole country with much zeal and greater commitment.”

Interacting with BJP booth workers through video conference, PM said, “A few people criticize us for taking forward the work of previous governments. But I want to ask them, why did you not complete those works? It is our government that is completing the long pending projects.”

Answering a question from BJP Karyakarta in Damoh about the Opposition’s divisive politics, PM said, “We don’t spread hatred and divide the society. Our mantra is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, but they (Congress) wants to make themselves happy by dividing the society and spreading hatred.”

In response to another question from Agra about the government’s initiatives for the welfare of senior citizens, PM Modi highlighted several initiatives taken to make the lives of our senior citizens simple and hassle-free such as the introduction of ‘Life Certificate.’ PM also listed how schemes like ‘Jan Aushadhi Yojana’ and increased tax benefits for senior citizens strive to ensure social and economic security of our senior citizens.

Speaking at length about the divisive tactics of the Opposition parties during election and their yet-non-existent ‘Mahagathbandhan,’ PM Modi lashed out at these parties for compromising the country’s interests for political power where he cited the example of the recent Karnataka Assembly election, in which rivals, Congress and JD(S) formed an alliance to grab political power in the state.

During his interaction with a Karyakarta from Raipur, PM Modi described how the auspicious and pious days of ‘Navratri’ inspire him to continue doing good deeds while the support of 130 crore people of India was a source of immense strength for him.
Prime Minister Modi also recounted the contributions of India’s past leaders and freedom fighters like Nanaji Deshmukh, Jay Prakash Narayan and Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia for their selfless devotion towards the country.

Concluding his interaction at Mysore, Prime Minister Modi described what made the BJP ‘a party with difference.’ He explained that BJP is a cadre-driven party whose identity is not limited to a single family or clan. The BJP, he said, is the largest party in the world owing to the hard work and determination of its millions of workers and its self-less leaders who spent their lives in strengthening the party’s organisation to where it stands today.
