Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a public meeting at Hyderabad, Telangana. Speaking at the event, Shri Narendra Modi said that 125 crore countrymen were the high command of his Government. “We are running this Government as per the wishes and aspirations of the people of India”, he added further.

The Prime Minister stated that Government has been able to curb corruption. “It has been two years of our Government and none of our Ministers have been charged with corruption”, said the PM. Shri Modi mentioned that zeal to fulfil aspirations of the people of India keeps him and his Government work day in and out..

PM Narendra Modi acknowledged the contributions of weaver community and said that the National Handloom Day was a tribute to them. “Today is Handloom Day and was welcomed with a Handloom product at the rally. This is a great tribute to the weavers”, he added.

Prime Minister Modi shed light on how leakages had been stopped in LPG subsidy distribution by through the Direct Benefit Transfer scheme. Talking about the Ujjwala Yojana, the PM said, “Our Government is for the poor and marginalised. Over 3 crore LPG connections have been distributed to BPL households across the country. We aim to provide many more connections in the coming years. Our aim is to make entire rural India smoke-free.”

The PM remarked that those who were born after Independence must feel proud about the country and contribute towards nation building. “We have the opportunity to live for India and we must serve the nation.”

Prime Minister Modi talked about saffron revolution and said that the country needed a revolution in energy sector. He added it was about solar energy and achieving 24/7 availablility of electricity. Adding further, the PM said that India also required a second white and green revolution for the cattle and agriculture sectors. He also said that a blue revolution would strengthen India’s coasts and act as a welfare measure for the fishermen.

PM Narendra Modi thanked all parties in the Parliament for clearing the GST Bill recently and said that it was a big economic reform that the country had waited for long.

Paying tribute to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, PM Modi stated several measures the Government had been underkating for welfare of poor and Dalit community. “Shanti, Ekta, Sadbhavna are central to India’s progress. Yes, there are some short comings in our society. We have no right to ill treat our Dalit sisters and brothers. Discrimination is not accepted. We have to protect the marginalised and the Dalits. It is our duty”, said Shri Modi.

Several Union Ministers and Telangana BJP karyakartas were present during the Prime Minister’s rally.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will participate in the ‘Odisha Parba 2024’ programme on 24 November at around 5:30 PM at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.
