What our scientists at ISRO have achieved is a historic feat and puts us at the centre of global space power: PM Modi in Wardha
The Congress-NCP take turns in hibernating once they assume power. They come to power, accumulate money from the honest taxpayers and public and then use them for personal gains: PM Modi
The people of Maharashtra will never be fooled by the opportunist Congress-NCP alliance which is formed not to serve the people of the state but to serve the dynasts: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a major public meeting in Wardha, Maharashtra today.

Applauding the ISRO scientists for the successful completion of the Mission Shakti which saw India become a part of an elite group of space powers in the world, Prime Minister Modi said, “What our scientists at ISRO have achieved is a historic feat and puts us at the centre of global space power. I congratulate them whole-heartedly for this major achievement.”

Coming down heavily on the Congress for ignoring the country’s best interests instead working towards expanding the interests of its ‘first-family,’ PM Modi reminded people how the Congress party did not live up to the ideals of Gandhiji and Vinoba Bhave Ji and did nothing to improve sanitation and cleanliness in the country. He also took potshots at the Congress for its high-headedness when one of its leaders recently commented that in these last five years, PM Modi could only become the ‘Chowkidar’ of toilets. PM Modi responded by saying that statements like these show the true colours of the elitism of the Congress and its leaders.

Prime Minister Modi also spoke at length about the Congress-NCP alliance for the upcoming elections and its impact on Maharashtrian politics saying, “The Congress-NCP take turns in hibernating once they assume power. They come to power, accumulate money from the honest taxpayers and public and then use them for personal gains. This is the characteristic feature of this alliance, which is only formed to serve personal interests and not to serve the people of Maharashtra.” He further added that the parties in this alliance betrayed the farmers when they were in power and used brute force to crush any protests of farmers, as a result of which hundreds of farmers were forced to commit suicide in their tenure.

Concluding his address to the huge crowd of supporters, PM Modi listed out how the BJP government was different from the Congress and its allies in managing the concerns of the farmers as well as enhancing ease of living for the middle class. Describing several important infrastructure projects in Mahasrashtra and initiatives by the central government, PM Modi asked his supporters to vote for the BJP in the upcoming elections in order to retain this rapid pace of progress taking place in the state and country and not be fooled by the hollow promises of the Congress and its opportunist allies.
