Congress and its allies were making tall promises before the elections but now, they have realized that the country no longer favours their divisive politics: PM Modi
The recent discovery of large amounts of illegal cash from the state’s CM and his aides shows how the return of Congress in MP means a return of corruption: PM Modi
A growing country like India needs an inclusive model of development of the BJP rather than the divisive politics of Congress: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Modi addressed two huge rallies in Sidhi and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh today. At the rallies, PM Modi took on the incumbent Congress government in the state for the recent discovery of large amounts of illicit cash from senior leaders and their aides and said that the Congress leaders were still deeply involved in corruption and illegal activities.

Encouraging his supporters to turn out to vote in the ongoing elections, PM Modi said, “Congress and its Mahamilawati allies were making tall promises before the elections but after the three phases of elections are over, they have probably realized that the country no longer favours their dynastic and divisive politics. They have lost their ground among the people because of their petty politics that divides people on castes, creeds, religion etc. Hence, I urge all my supporters, particularly, first-time voter friends to exercise their franchise in large numbers and send a strong message that they stand with the BJP’s politics of development.”

Prime Minister Modi further lambasted the state Congress government for failing to fulfill the promises made to the people and said, “Although Congress made high promises about uninterrupted electricity supply, farm loan waivers and unemployment allowances to the people, they have not fulfilled any of these even after being in power for months. Furthermore, the recent discovery of large amounts of illegal cash from the state’s CM and his aides shows how the return of Congress to power in MP means a return of corruption and hooliganism here. As a result, the ordinary people of Madhya Pradesh are suffering, especially the farmers and the youth.”

PM Modi also spoke at length about various other issues of national importance like corruption, his government’s achievements since 2014 as well as terrorism and asked his supporters to keep their track-record of governance in mind while casting their votes. He said that a growing country like India needs an inclusive model of development of the BJP rather than the divisive politics of Congress.
