Our victory is certain but for the democracy's blessing you need to go out and vote for the lotus: PM Modi

Addressing a public meeting in Koderma, Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cautioned first-time voters against the 'Mission Mahamilavat', saying they do not want that a government with absolute majority is formed at any cost. "Congress wants a weak government they can remote control," PM Modi said.

Drawing a powerful analogy between religion and voting, the PM said, "There are some who are telling people to not go out in the heat and vote since Modi is anyway going to win. Don’t listen to them." He asserted, "Just like God blesses you but you still visit temples, similarly, our victory is certain but for the democracy's blessing you need to go out and vote for the lotus."

"Mission Mahamilaawat wants a government at the centre which can do scams, can do anything they want, can run dynasty politics, but not work for the people. This Mahamilaawat was seen before also. Congress formed a Mahamilaawat so that Atal Bihari Vajpayee could not be elected," said Prime Minister Modi in Koderma.

Talking about farmers’ welfare, PM Modi remarked, "We have decided that on May 23, when BJP will come to power again, the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana will be made available to every farmer family."

PM Modi also talked about how the state has grown by leaps and bounds under the Modi Government, he said that Modern health and wellness centers were being set up at several villages in Jharkhand. He added that a medical college each in Koderma and Chaibasa were being made and construction of AIIMS in Deoghar was in progress.
