Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed two mega political rallies in Barhi and Bokaro, Jharkhand today. Seeing the BJP swept Karnataka’s bypolls, PM Modi thanked the people of Karnataka for reposing faith in the BJP for stability and development. He remarked, “What happened in Karnataka is a win of public opinion, also a victory of democracy.”

Expressing his gratitude towards people of Karnataka, PM Modi said, “What the country thinks about political stability and for political stability how much the country trusts BJP, an example of that is in front of us today. BJP has won on most seats in Karnataka bypolls.”

Addressing the poll meeting, he highlighted, “The truth of the Congress also has to be remembered by the people of Jharkhand. The Congress has never stood the confidence of the coalition. It uses alliances and mandates for its own sake. Then uses its colleagues as puppets for their own benefit.” He asserted those that said the BJP has limited influence in southern part of the country were punished by the people in a democratic way.

Urging people to vote the BJP to power for a second successive term, the prime minister said the double-engine growth of Jharkhand became possible because the party was in power both at the Centre and in the state.

Elaborating on the benefits of double-engine growth, PM Modi said apart of the gas connection given to poor families under the Ujjwala Yojana by the Centre, the BJP government has resolved that every poor's house should made food on the LPG in Jharkhand, and two free cylinders were given to them.

“On one hand, the poorest of the poor families are getting free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh through Ayushman Bharat, on the other hand, the campaign for free immunization of more than 50 crore animals across the country has also started,” the Prime Minister said.

“The BJP government formed the District Mineral Fund for the first time. Today, Jharkhand has got about 5000 crore rupees under it. With this amount, the BJP government is laying water pipelines here, building schools and hospitals and providing other facilities,” PM Modi said.

PM Modi, who was in Bokaro, also said “Jharkhand is like a growing child and Jharkhand is now 19 years old. It will soon stop being a teenager. I want you to stand with me and I promise you that when Jharkhand turns 25 you will witness a great transformation.”

PM Modi said, “The BJP works for the development of everyone and does not differentiate on the basis of caste, religion or community.” He also hailed the BJP government for breaking the backbone of naxalism and cleared the path of development.
